In Shock Move, Chelsea Board Does Fuckall again…

The January transfer window has officially closed and Chelsea Football Club have signed a grand total of….. ZERO (0.0) players. You may be saying but wait doesn’t Chelsea have the transfer ban? Ahh one might think that must certainly be the case. Only reasonable explanation. Well sorry to break the news to people living under a rock but the transfer ban was revoked in early December.

Most Chelsea fans were salivating at the idea of Frank Lampard being able to bring in reinforcements for a team that clearly needs it. Who could it be? Timo Werner? Jadon Sancho? No. Okay that’s fair. Don’t wanna splurge too much in January, understandable I guess. Maybe Cavani or Mertens for 6 months? Nope… Alright. Ighalo? Rondon? Wrong!!! NO ONE!!! Zero. Nada. Zilch. That’s what you’ll get and you’ll like it!

What. The. Fuck. I feel like that is what most Chelsea fans are saying right now.

What was even the point of even requesting to revoke the transfer ban if you’re not even going to sign anyone? The only thing this has accomplished is pissing off the Chelsea fan base and Frank Lampard. This is now the fourth Chelsea manager in a row that the Chelsea Board has been able to piss of by not buying the players they want/at all. Jose Mourinho won the league, wasn’t given the reinforcements he wanted, and was out six months later. Antonio Conte won the league in his first year at Chelsea, wasn’t given the reinforcements he wanted and was out the next year. Maurizio Sarri came in and seemed the relationship was never meant to flourish from the start, but won the Europa League and dipped. Do you see a theme?

Lampard was put in a place where he couldn’t buy any players. He’s been forced to use the youth at Chelsea, and it’s gone better than expected. The kids have played well above expectations, but the fact that the Chelsea Board thinks that some kind of excuse not to bring players in for the second half of the season is a joke. How can you not learn from your mistakes?

My main hope is that this doesn’t create problems with Frank Lampard, because he is a great manager. He knows how to manage this young squad and most importantly he loves this club and only wants the best for it and the fans.

Heres to hopes of top 4. KTBFFH!
