Sad Atlanta Fan

Leaving Honduras with a 1-1 draw is a win in the first match of the year for ATL UTD

Atlanta United kicked off their 2020 campaign last night with the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions League match up with FC Motagua, the reigning Honduran champions. Going down south to face any CONCACAF opponent is never easy, add in the fact that this was Atlanta United’s first competitive match since October and Motagua has…

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Chelsea FC have bought Hakim Ziyech

You can pinch me because I must be dreaming. Actually, don’t pinch me, let me keep dreaming. In a shocking surprise to blues fans everywhere, Chelsea Football Club have actually bought someone, and you know what he’s actually pretty good, and he wasn’t even that expensive!! Coming in at a hot 43.6 million dollars is…

Trevor Bauer rips MLB a new one, and he’s not wrong

Over the past few days reports have surfaced that Major League Baseball is considering expanding the playoffs from 10 teams to 14 teams and including some weird Bachelor style format where the better teams get to pick their opponents. Pretty weird and ridiculous, and it caused this fantastic rant from a very pissed off Trever…

Cole Hamels hurt on the first fucking day

Listen, I trust Alex Anthopoulos with my life. The guy could play cards with the devil and I’m betting he’s walking away the winner. He’s smart, he’s level headed, and seems to know how to put together a winning ball club. I will admit that when we signed Cole Hamels I said to myself “Really?…

In Shock Move, Chelsea Board Does Fuckall again…

The January transfer window has officially closed and Chelsea Football Club have signed a grand total of….. ZERO (0.0) players. You may be saying but wait doesn’t Chelsea have the transfer ban? Ahh one might think that must certainly be the case. Only reasonable explanation. Well sorry to break the news to people living under…

Atlanta United has finally unfortunately sold Tito Villalba

Well I think if you were an Atlanta United fan you could see the writing on the wall since last season. Hector “Tito” Villalba has finally been sold to Club Libertad of the Paraguayan League and you could say the move makes sense for all parties involved.  Tito came to Atlanta way back in 2017…

About the Author

Dani was born and raised in the heart of the south, Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up during the height of the Braves 14 straight division titles he would spend his summers at Turner Field and in turn baseball became his first love. His love wouldn’t just stay at one sport as he became a big fan of the Falcons and the Hawks as well. A childhood built by the disappointments of these Atlanta franchises carved him in to the bitter, pessimistic sports addict he is today. It wasn’t until later that he found one of his biggest obsession of all, Soccer. Instantly he became a supporter of the London based, Chelsea FC. As time went on his love for the club and the sport only grew more and more. Luckily, the past few years have seen the creation of Atlanta United FC and contrary to what he’s grown to know they actually fucking won some hardware. Besides all the illnesses listed above Dani can also be found watching any other major sporting events from NHL, UFC, Golf, and whatever else can be found on TV. This blog is meant to be a place where the thoughts of a tortured, obsessed sports fan can be heard.
